This is our first data report. We're publishing it because the most common question we get from developers evaluating CarVector is a fair one: how do I know the data is actively maintained? This is the answer — metrics and narrative, not marketing.
We'll publish these periodically. Each one covers what improved in the dataset, what we fixed, and what's next. The figures below are drawn from the live catalog as of late May 2026 and reflect the trailing 90 days of work.
Coverage summary
